So . . . new comic! Hello there! If you don't know me, (and haven't read my name,) I'm Vye Brante! Welcome to "Watermelon Seeds!" If you haven't read one of my comics before, (I don't know how many non-readers of "Just Gotta" this will draw in,) let me lay a few things out for 'ya. 1. Yes, I am aware I am not that great of an artist. Thanks for noticing too! 2. I comment on every page before it goes up, and I can sometimes "talk" a lot . . . 3. I don't use some Internet talk like "lol" and "omg" and stuff. I type out what I would say, even if I type out my laugh. Because of this, you will see me say "Heh" and "Ha ha" a lot. 4. Because I don't use them, I don't know what some of the acronyms mean. (I have finally figured out what "ftw" means though! Yayz!) 5. Besides typing out my laugh and rambling on in long comments, you can expect one other frequent thing in my comments. "I hate hands." (Seriously, expect seeing that A LOT.) 6. I also use parenthesis a lot. 7. Feel free to ask questions! Although, I tend not to give away spoilers, so if you ask a plot sensetive question, you may not get a good answer . . . 8. I just now realized that Xander's right hand is backwards. *cough* That should be good. Here are some things about you should know about Watermelon Seeds: 1. The normal comic pages will be in grayscale, not colored like this page. 2. Updates should be pretty steady. (I hope.) 3. I'm not the greatest artists, but hopefully the story will make up for the art. 4. The reason it's called "Watermelon Seeds" will make sense later. 5. Expect some humor and a lot of warm fuzzies, but there will also be a bit of drama in the mix. It happens. Teen angst and all that. I hope you will stay and enjoy the pages to come! Page 1 will be on Thursday. If there are any real artists out there with some free time and might be interested in drawing this comic for me, I'm open! It's going to be really funny if I wrote all that and nobody reads this. Hee hee. Ah well. |

i learned about 'ftw' a while ago, my favorite combination 'omgwtfbbq' (ohmygod-whatthe!$^%-barbeque) it would be funny if no one read it, i did though =D *enter name*:oh man, long comment. i hate them. *scans through it**notices last line*O.O |

And also, thanks for joining me over here! spudwalt: I have always had a legitimate reason to hate hands . . . Heh. And thanks for joining us over here too! DragonhandX: I get most of them figured out eventually. Just takes me a while. Yeah, it would have been funny, but I guess things don't always work out that way. |
